In The News

In order to gain more attention on the efforts of DetectTheMutation.org and especially raise awareness about Lynch Syndrome, we contacted the local newspaper for each half-marathon event for an article. Thus far, DetectTheMutation.org has been successful acquiring the interest of these communities. It has given The Martinez Family an opportunity to share their unique story about being diagnosed with Lynch Syndrome. Hopefully our story will help other families to recognize the characteristics of the disease and begin their own investigation of their family medical history.

We hope that you read each article and learn more about our story.

UC Davis is the alma mater of Director, Selena Martínez, and they were more than willing to get the word out about DetectTheMutation. Thank you, Israel Alvarado and Megan Myers for being a part of this paper.
